Busy Baby

So we've been a bit busy and haven't had much time to post! Boy, growing up has been so fun though. In the last month I've decided to start sitting, sat up on my own and crawl! This morning I scared the stuffing out of my Mommy by trying to stand up on my own in the play pen! Ha ha ha... It was almost as bad as the day I rolled off the bed (Mommy still feels bad about that).

We have a busy week lined up. Yesterday we had my Auntie Sam over for dinner and we played around on the floor for a while. Her phone is mighty yummy. Tonight we are going to Aunt Karen & Uncle Sammy's house for dinner. Uncle Sammy is getting his new TV tonight, and may need a bit of Daddy's help setting it up. Wednesday night we are going to clean up Doctor Zeck's apartment, 'cause he moved out and then dinner in Chicago. Thursday is preview night for TV, so Mommy's planning on staying around home so we can watch Bones! Friday we are going to see Mommy's cousins Graham and Geoff. Graham is moving with his girlfriend to Paris for a year and I've never met Geoff, he live in ND working for the weather service. Saturday I'm going to a Wedding down in Springfield, my Aunt Kate's brother Sam is getting married. Phew. So busy!

Scream-A-Pillar

I am a scream-a-pillar! My grandma gave me this nickname a while back, 'cause I like to cry when my Mommy isn't around. I'm named after an endangered insect on the Simpsons, which is so cute, but cries all the time. If you never saw this episode, click on the scream-a-pillar above. I've gotten much better but Mommy and Daddy still call me it when I cry.

Lazy Cloudy Monday

So, I like lights. I like looking at the window, lamps, chandeliers, etc. Yesterday it was so cloudy, there was nothing to see out the window! So I just took a lot of little naps. Not much else to do. Mommy and I spent some time on my Kick N' Play on the floor in the morning... that occupies me for a bit. Then again in the evening with Daddy.



I'm finally getting over my Scream-a-pillar stage, and spent some cooing time with daddy last night. He is a cuddly guy. I did give Mommy a hard time last night and faught going to sleep, but that is how I keep her on her toes!

Sunday of the Housewares Adventure!

We spent Saturday night at my Po-Po's house (Daddy's mom) and head out to Chicago in the morning. Mommy and Daddy got badges to go to the Housewares Show at McCormick Place! Something I sure haven't done before. Although it was made a little difficult, 'cause we couldn't use the stroller! Instead we had to use the Snugli, which we haven't used very much at home at this point. So, Mommy strapped it on, and we walked the floor of the show.



I dozed off quickly, but Daddy tells me that we got to see many cool booths and saw some celebrity chefs demonstrate their mad skills. I guess Mommy thought it was funny 'cause people kept on wanting to look at me, cause I'm so little and cute! Can you see me blush?! We were there for six hours and as long as my diapie was changed, I was cool with it.

We then went out to dinner at a place called Urban Belly and desert at Margie's Candies. Wow! So busy. We then went to visit Daddy's cousin, my Auntie May and her family. They are always so nice to me! After a visit, where I got to play and goo for a while, we head back to Po-po's house, then home! Phew, what a busy day!

As you may or may not now, I'm Lily! My Daddy calls me Little Foot, cause I have such little feet! I was born on Boxing Day, December 26th and I'm now almost 3 month old!
